What point-to-point service is
Point-to-point is the simplest booking we offer: a single one-way ride from one address to another, with no hourly clock running. You choose the vehicle class, the pickup time and the two addresses, and you receive a written quote before you confirm. The number you approve is the fare for that ride.
Fares start from a floor of $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV anywhere in the metro, and rise with distance. S-Class and Sprinter one-way rides are quoted the same way, in writing, before you book.
When to book point-to-point, and when to book by the hour
Point-to-point fits trips with a clear start and finish: home to PDX, a downtown hotel to the Oregon Convention Center, Union Station to an office in Beaverton, or a dinner reservation in the Pearl District with no plans to be driven home. If the day includes several stops, a wait of more than a few minutes, or a return trip you cannot time yet, an hourly charter is usually the better value, because the car and chauffeur stay with you between stops.
A quick rule of thumb: the hourly minimum is three hours, which starts at $360 for a sedan. If you only need one leg, point-to-point from $130 will almost always cost less.
Common one-way trips
Many of the most requested rides have their own route pages with drive times and starting fares:
- PDX to downtown Portland and PDX to Lake Oswego
- PDX to Beaverton and PDX to Hillsboro on the west side
- PDX to Vancouver, WA across the Columbia
- Longer one-way rides such as Portland to Salem and Portland to Seattle
Rides between two neighborhoods, from Lake Oswego to the Lloyd District, say, or from Tigard to the Pearl, are quoted the same way even without a dedicated page.
What the quote covers
Your quote names the vehicle class, the pickup time and address, the drop-off address and any stop you add in advance. The route is chosen by dispatch on the day, based on traffic on I-5, I-84, I-205 and US-26, and the agreed fare does not change because the drive took longer than expected. Changes you make after booking, such as a new address or an added stop, are re-quoted before the trip.
Booking and pickup
Book online through the secure reservation form or call dispatch around the clock. Chauffeur contact details reach you before the ride, and the car arrives ahead of the scheduled time. For airport pickups, the flight is tracked and the pickup moves with the actual landing. Cancel at least twenty-four hours before pickup to avoid charges.
